Arseguel – a lovely starting point

DSC00146The beautiful village of Arseguel is a great starting point for many of our treks. Marc’s family have had a home here all of his life and he spent most of his holidays there as a child. The village has a bakers who supplies bread to many of the local hotels. There are two restaurants in the village. The village is famous for it’s International accordion festival in the Summer. About 4000 people attend every year. There is also a music school, an accordion museum and a wool mill factory museum. Quite a lot for a village of only 40 inhabitants.
