Marc Giro is a chef and hotelier with 25 years professional experience. It has been his ambition to bring horse trekking to his home village in the Cadi National Park for many years. The last couple of years have been spent working hard towards that goal. In 2016 this dream becomes a reality.
Marc is a qualified guide in horse riding and hiking. After many years enjoying his passion and affection for horses, he has developed a love of trekking along bridle ways, short and long journeys, either with friends or alone. His love for the natural world and respect for rural cultures and traditions lead him to a new adventure where he spent nine months in Patagonia (Argentina) at the side of the marvelous and unique pioneer Carol Jones. Any man would have one of the best experiences of their life when they are able to realise their dream and become a cowboy!!
His connections within the Hotel and food industry means that he is well placed to organise a trek that will be both comfortable and will mean that you are well fed!
Horses are the best companions for daily work in the country side, working to herd cows, sheep and horses, ploughing fields and for trekking.
